Our Staff
Our staff is made up of Paramedics, EMT's, PHRN, Health Care Professionals. We also have First Responders and E.V.O.C. qualified
drivers. We have spent many hours of our day with hands on traning and class room training.
When we are not working, volunteering or schooling we are mostly spending our time with our families and friends. We
are a family in itself. So that means that when we are not with our Families we are with our 2nd family. This is how its been
over many years!
Our medical director is Dr. Mark Bonin out of the Marion Community Hospital.

A little History and Future Plans!
The Throop Community Ambulance was founded in 1971! Placed into service one ambulance. By the early 80's TCAA placed
into service a 1983 Horton Ambulance that is now being used by Resque 27. This was donated to them to help be a command unit.
By 1993, a Chevy Medical Attack truck was purchased. This truck in it's day was the biggest ambulance in
the area! Throop expanding it's fleet back then to two units. After the Horton came Throop's newest ambulance! A 1999 Ford
Braun Type III Ambulance. Now in 2004, Throop EMS is expanding it's fleet yet again. Having 6 transportable ambulances, 2
QRV and a Wheel Chair Van. We are both Paid and Volunteer.
